Boosting Food Security and Rural Development Across the Constituency
In fulfillment of his commitment to food security and rural development, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti B. Laori, Member representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, has flagged off the distribution of farm inputs to beneficiaries across the three Local Government Areas.
The farm inputs distributed include Fertilizer, Napsack Sprayers, and Herbicides.
The flag-off ceremony, which drew community leaders and stakeholders, began with opening prayers offered by both Christian and Muslim clerics.

Speaking during the flag-off, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti Laori said the intervention is aimed at supporting farmers for the current farming season, reducing the cost of production, and boosting agricultural yield in Demsa, Numan, and Lamurde LGAs.
"Agriculture remains the backbone of our economy. By equipping our farmers with the right inputs at the right time, we are investing directly in productivity, livelihoods, and the future of our communities," he stated.
The Honourable Member reaffirmed his mandate to ensure that government presence is felt at the grassroots. He called on beneficiaries to make judicious use of the inputs and encouraged youths to embrace agriculture as a viable path to self-reliance.
He further assured constituents of his continued support and wished everyone a successful farming season as the rainy season approaches.
The distribution was carried out through party structures and community leaders to ensure transparency and that the materials reach those who need them most.
