In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of his enduring commitment to the welfare of his constituents, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus Laori extended food support to the Muslim Ummah across Demsa, Numan, and Lamurde Federal Constituency of Adamawa State.
The outreach featured the distribution of essential food items, including bags of rice, beans, millet, and cooking oil, aimed at supporting Muslim families during the festive season.
Representing Rt. Hon. Kwamoti Laori at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Hapiyati Calvin, Leader of the Numan LGA Legislative Council, called for sustained prayers for peace, unity, and progress in Adamawa State and Nigeria at large. She emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and collective commitment to nation-building.
The Chairmen of the Muslim Councils from Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde received the items on behalf of the Muslim communities in the three Local Government Areas.
Speaking on behalf of his counterparts, the Chairman of Lamurde LGA, Malam Abubakar, expressed profound appreciation to Rt. Hon. Kwamoti Laori for the generous gesture, describing it as a longstanding tradition that has continued to bring relief and joy to many families over the years. He prayed for God’s continued protection, strength, and blessings upon the lawmaker for his quality representation and unwavering service to the people.
