*Rep. Kwamoti Commissions New Classrooms and Office at Pare Girls Secondary School, Numan*

"In the words of Nelson Mandela, 'Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.'"

In a concerted effort to address the critical infrastructure gap in education within the Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency, Rep. Kwamoti has prioritized the construction and equipping of classrooms, staff offices, laboratories, examination halls, and ICT facilities.

Rep. Kwamoti emphasized his commitment to education by stating, "Eight out of every ten projects I have executed in the last five years have been in education." This highlights the value he places on the educational advancement of his constituents.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, the lawmaker officially commissioned a new block of classrooms and an office at Pare Girls Secondary School, fulfilling a promise made to the school. The school management had previously expressed concerns about the rising student population and the lack of adequate classrooms and perimeter fencing, which are essential for providing a safe and conducive learning environment for girls.

The school's principal, visibly elated by this development, noted that this timely intervention comes as the students prepare to resume classes next week, ensuring that there will be sufficient classrooms to accommodate them along with a dedicated office for staff members.

At the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Kate Mamuno, Majority Leader of the Adamawa State House of Assembly and representative for Demsa, expressed her gratitude toward Rep. Kwamoti. She underscored the importance of supporting girls' education, invoking the well-known saying, "Educating a woman is educating the world."

Hon. James Iliya, the Honorable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, also lauded the federal lawmaker's efforts to bridge infrastructure deficits across various sectors. He noted that these initiatives align with and complement the vision of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's administration.

Mr. Penuel Birsan, Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Board, encouraged parents to take advantage of the current administration's free education policy and to motivate their school-age children to attend classes. He also urged parents and students to prepare adequately for the upcoming WAEC examinations, which have undergone changes in their conduct.

Representing the Hama Bàchama, the Wakili Numan expressed satisfaction with Rep. Kwamoti's representation and political leadership, pledging ongoing support for his future endeavors.

The Elders' Forum also voiced their appreciation for the visionary leadership demonstrated by Rep. Kwamoti, urging the community to continue supporting him in his political journey.

Other dignitaries who praised the initiative included Hon. Bulus Daniel, Chairman of Lamurde LGA, Hon. Innocent Koto, Chairman of Numan LGA, Rev. Daniel Japheth Madika, the Hon. Councillor representing Numan II and Elder Amna Ibrahim Farai.

Other dignatories who graced the occassion include Dr. Dishi Khobe, Adviser to the State Government on Food security Chief Niwesa George Kushi, Chairman Jimeta Ultra Modern Market, Chief Senan Murey, Party stakeholder and community leaders.

The event concluded with a heartfelt appreciation speech by Miss Hafsat Fatima Ibrahim from JSS 1A, representing the students, who expressed their gratitude for the new facilities.

The lawmaker was warmly welcomed to the ceremony by the Dyalla and Ngra-Jiyan cultural troupes of the Bachama Kingdom, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the event.

*Rep. Kwamoti Attends the Launch of Three Legislative Digital Platforms in Abuja*

In a significant effort to enhance transparency and promote public accountability in Nigeria's legislative processes, the Policy Legal and Advocacy Centre (PLAC) has unveiled three innovative digital platforms designed to improve citizen engagement with the legislature.

PLAC, a civil society organization working in partnership with Nigeria's National Assembly, launched these platforms to facilitate better access for citizens to legislative processes and decision-making.

At the event, Rep. Kwamoti, who served as a special guest, commended PLAC for this initiative, describing it as a timely and innovative response to the public's demand for greater legislative accountability, transparency, and engagement.

The three digital platforms launched include:

1. PLAC Bills Tracker– This tool allows citizens to monitor the progress of bills through the legislative process.

2. PLAC Legislative Agenda Tracker – This platform provides insights into the legislative priorities of the National Assembly, enabling citizens to stay informed about key issues.

3. PLAC Legislative Repository– A comprehensive database that houses legislative documents, ensuring easy access to vital information.

A highlight of the event was a live demonstration of the digital platforms, encouraging stakeholders to utilize these tools, actively engage with legislative processes, and contribute to the strengthening of democracy in Nigeria.

According to Rep Kwamoti, "this initiative marks a significant step forward in fostering an informed and engaged citizenry, ultimately enhancing the democratic process in the country."

*Barr. Kwamoti Condemns Murder of Thomas Godwin Zamfara: Calls for Thorough Investigation*

It is with a heavy heart and profound shock that I condemn the heinous murder of our beloved Thomas Godwin, affectionately known as Zamfara.

This brutal act is not only tragic but also deeply unsettling in Adamawa State. The perpetrators of this crime must not go unpunished. I urge the Nigerian Police and all relevant security, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies to prioritize the arrest and prosecution of those responsible as a critical measure to deter future violence.

As we join Thomas's family in mourning, it is essential that we remain vigilant and proactive in reporting any information that could help expose the evil that has afflicted us. Adamawa State is renowned for its peace and harmony, and we must not allow criminals to thrive within our society. It is imperative that we collectively denounce this atrocity through both our words and our actions.

There is no justification for the way Zamfara was murdered; it is barbaric and entirely contrary to our values as human beings. I call on the authorities to deepen their investigation, and I encourage anyone with information that could assist in solving this crime not to hesitate in reporting it to the Nigerian Police or the appropriate intelligence and law enforcement agencies in the state.

The best way to honor our brother’s memory is to ensure that his murderers do not escape justice but are held accountable for their actions. We must reject the normalization of violence and impunity in our community.

I implore everyone to avoid indifference and to embody the spirit of being our brother’s keeper, as taught by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection we celebrate in this season of hope.

As Christians celebrate the resurrection of Christ, let us also remember Thomas, his family, and all those who have fallen victim to senseless violence, ensuring that justice prevails.

My deepest condolences go out to the family of Thomas Godwin Zamfara, the people of Hong Local Government Area, and the entire government and community of Adamawa State, who are shocked and saddened by this incident.

May we find strength in unity as we mourn this loss, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.

Amen!
