*Rep. Kwamoti Laori Commissions Multi-Purpose Hall in Borrong, Demsa LGA.*

 





 The member representating Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency has in a well attended  occasion commissioned  a Multi-Purpose Hall in Borrong , Demsa LGA. The Hall which has been named after Wazirin Mbula  Late Chief John Eddy Manassa will remain symbolic in loving memory of him. 


The Law maker in his remark paid tribute to the late Wazirin Mbula for the efforts he made in uniting  the people  of the area and prayed that the Hall continue to serve as symbol of unity, consensus and peace building for the people of the area. 


He further explained that it was in a town hall meeting at the Prince Medan Teneke Hall which he constructed in Demsa that some constituents requested for the Block of classrooms he constructed at Lasala, Gwamba Ward; the J J Fwa Examination Hall in Mbula Ward, and the Chief John Eddy Manassa Community Hall being commissioned today in Borrong. 








He thereafter encouraged constituents to continue to approach him with constructive criticisms and ideas that would advance the lot of the people of his constituency further assuring them of his listening ears at all times.


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who was  represented at the event by the  state Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta applauded the Law maker for bridging infrastructure gaps in his constituency, the governor appealed to community members to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring that the facilityis  maintained and used to host meetings, workshops, wedding reception and other important social gatherings in the area while also ensuring that the facility is taken care of to prevent damage. 


Many of the constituents spoken to informed that besides human capital development strides that affects them across the entire polling units in his constituency, the law maker is noted to have  implemented various infrastructure projects in education, health, power, water supply and other critical sectors in almost 90% of the 30 Wards that constitute Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency; in  LGA. 


The Murum Mbula, who received the VIPs in his palace was represented at the event by Chief Lawsom Gadiel, the District Head of Borrong.


The event was graced by the Member representing Demsa and Majority Leader, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Kate Mamuno, Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo, Hon. James Iliya, Chairmen of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde LGAs, Hon. Hardly Dilli, Barr. John Tunor, Hon. Happy Maxwell, Barr Leader Teneke, Hon. Elkanah Kados, Hon. A.A Sadat, Hon. Satina, Chief Niwesa George, Dr. Ben Direi, Hon. Malena John Manassa, and a host of political associates and stakeholders too numerous to mention. 


Highlights of the event included  a parade of tra doesditional dancers from various communities of Mbula Chiefdom, Horse riding and lots of presentations in songs and poems.

*Campaign Promise Fulfilled: Hon. Kwamoti delivered Examination Hall to GDSS Gamadio, Numan LGA.*

 




It was another moment of joy and celebration for the students, parents and people of Vulpi State Development Area of Numan LGA where the member representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency constructed an Examination Hall. 


Delivering his remarks, the Principal of GDSS Gamadio, Mr. Zacheaus, who was visibly elated recalled how students seating for SSCE (WAEC/NECO) used to travel to neighbouring Lamurde and Demsa LGAs for the purpose of writing their senior examination. 



He stated that even with the establishment of WAEC/NECO centers in 2019, lessons have to be suspended to vacate the classrooms to be used through out the period of the examinations, due to lack of an Examination Hall to accommodate the students.


The Principal ceased the occasion to appeal for more interventions from the law maker, in the area of Perimeter fence, science and computer laboratories as well as comprehensive development of the school permanent site to enable students boarding. 


The law maker who named the Examination Hall after Hon. Kaitanga Asibiti, assured the people of his unwavering commitment to ensure democracy dividends reaches every nuke and cranny of his constituency. 



Hon. Kwamoti is noted as one law maker that is targeting delivering infrastructure projects to the people across the 30 Ward/Registration Areas of his Constituency; a feat that is described as unprecedented by any legislator in the history of his Constituency, the State and the Nation. 


The law maker never ceases to express his passion for education and his resolve to make a difference in his lifetime. During his remarks, he expresses appreciation to the people for their support at all times.

Students and the entire community took turns to express their appreciation in poems, dances and songs of praise to God for the gift of Hon. Kwamoti as their representative.

*Rt. Hon. Kwamoti B Laori Commissions Block of Classrooms in Kodomti Ward, Numan LGA*

 



In an effort to improve the condition of learning infrastructure through out his constituency, the member representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency in the National Assembly has commissioned a block of 3 Classrooms in Kodomti Ward of Numan LGA. 


In his remark the law maker laments the dearth of education infrastructure in most communities across constituency, reiterates his commitment to ensure its improvement during his tenure.


The member stated that a conducive learning environment is essential for effective learning to take place. 




Besides offering scholarship to students at various levels of education, the member emphasized that with education comes liberation, promising more intervention in the sector. 


The law maker used the occasion to appreciate the unwavering support he has received from his constituents and pledges never to disappoint them. 


The people of Kodomti Ward led by their Ndewodi Kodomti and Ha Shaforon, visibly elated, turned out in en masse to appreciate the member,  prayed God to help the member succeed in all his efforts to improve to lot of his constituents. 


The community known for farming and fishing, presented fish souvenir to the member as token of their love and appreciation. 





Highlight of the event include cultural troupes display by the Kodomti and Bandawa communities. On their part, the pupils of Kodomti Primary School made several presentations in songs and poems in appreciation of the Federal Law maker.
