The Member representing Numan/Demsa/ Lamurde Federal Constituency at the National Assembly RT Hon Kwamoti Laori has been presented a *Merit Award* for the recognition of his services to God and humanity and also unveiled as a promoter of peace and unity in Adamawa State.
Laori, described as a man reputed for tireless sponsorship of various Christian Programs on TV and Radio for over a decade was singled out for the honour in recognition of these glaring feats.
In his citation during the event, the award organizers maintained that he is one among a few Nigerians working hard to ensure Christian Religious Knowledge remains essential part of the Nation's education curriculum as a character model for children.
They went further to enumerate some of his virtues as a man who is is indeed a defender of the Christian Faith in Adamawa State and Nigeria.
The citation on Laori included the fact that as a politician, he has distinguished himself as a true Representative of the body of Christ. The impressive citation further posited that laori is a man guided by his principles of integrity and truth further emphasizing that if he promises, he fulfils. They maintained that His words are bankable anytime.
In further recognition of his noble feats, it was noted that his attribute as a politician is comparable to Daniel, Joselp and Nehemiah in the Holy Scripture.
While also acknowledging his befitting Traditional title as Sunga - Takale - Batta (the sword of justice) , He was again highlighted as an advocate of the down trodden. It was also noted that he has a penchant for justice and fairness to all manner of people.
Commending him further, Hon. Kwamoti Laori was appreciated being that he serves in the capacity as a Patron to many Christian and humanitarian organizations, it was noted that His acts of philanthropy and kindness is worth emulation.
It was also stressed that for Kwamoti, everything is about service to God and humanity which has been his guiding principle to life.
They further revealed that the award is deservedly bestowed on him and would spur the Law maker to do more for the spread of the Gospel of Peace in the world.
The Law maker who was represented at the event by Rev. John Mbalti Filgona, the Commander CAN Brigade, Northeast- Nigeria appreciated the gesture and urged the organizers to continue encouraging people to do more.
